Entry 8
2Chr 29:8 Why [wherefore / for this reason] the wrath of the LORD was on Judah and Jerusalem, and he has delivered them to trouble, to astonishment, and to hissing, as you see with your eyes.
Shew the house to the house and confess what you see. Call it what it is. Agree with God.
Isaiah 66:1 Thus said the LORD, The heaven is my throne, and the earth is my footstool: where is the house that you build to me? and where is the place of my rest?
Eph 2:6 And has raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:
Col 1:18 And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence.
Those three verses are at the heart of God our Father. Jesus Christ the Son of God bled and died for this!! But look here at what has become of us. We will use the words of God through Ezekiel. Hear the heart of God in this.
Ezek 40:4 And the man said to me, Son of man, behold with your eyes, and hear with your ears, and set your heart on all that I shall show you; for to the intent that I might show them to you are you brought here: declare all that you see to the house of Israel.
Ezek 43:7 And he said to me, Son of man, the place of my throne, and the place of the soles of my feet, where I will dwell in the middle of the children of Israel for ever, and my holy name, shall the house of Israel no more defile, neither they, nor their kings, by their prostitution, nor by the carcasses of their kings in their high places.
Ezek 43:8 In their setting of their threshold by my thresholds, and their post by my posts, and the wall between me and them, they have even defiled my holy name by their abominations that they have committed: for this reason, I have consumed them in my anger.
Ezek 43:9 Now let them put away their prostitution, and the carcasses of their kings, far from me, and I will dwell in the middle of them for ever.
Ezek 43:10 You son of man, show the house to the house of Israel, that they may be ashamed of their iniquities: and let them measure the pattern.
Ezek 43:11 And if they be ashamed of all that they have done, show them the form of the house, and the fashion thereof, and the goings out thereof, and the comings in thereof, and all the forms thereof, and all the ordinances thereof, and all the forms thereof, and all the laws thereof: and write it in their sight, that they may keep the whole form thereof, and all the ordinances thereof, and do them.
King Hezekiah said "for this reason..." (wherefore the wrath of the LORD was on Judah and Jerusalem, and he has delivered them to trouble, to astonishment, and to hissing, as you see with your eyes.)
See the way of the Lord, See the ways of God. We can not come to the place of whoredoms and destitution; to the state of the church which we have come to today, and escape the wrath of God. How can we as a whole people escape the wrath of God? God has not changed and destruction reaps destruction. To the wind we have sown...the whirlwind shall we reap. Prepare to to see the mighty hand of God and prepare and know it is at your door Christians of America; will you be the ministers of God even as Hezekiah or will you be the shameful subjects of the Hezekiah call to restoration? Will you even live through the impending judgment? Lord give us ears to hear and eyes to see.
Here comes the fire saints; as promised by the LORD of GLORY. Buy The GOLD!!!
JESUS Says:
Rev 3:18 I counsel you to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that you may be rich; and white raiment, that you may be clothed, and that the shame of your nakedness do not appear; and anoint your eyes with eye salve, that you may see.
Hezekiah said "as you can see". Jesus says look at what has happened. Look and see, look with the eyes of God, and say to your selves, what have we done?
HE say's "buy" - there is a price, there is the price of Glory; Jesus paid it on the cross which he also calls us take up daily and there is the price of wickedness which we see Judah and Jerusalem has paid and which we here today will surely pay. Again we hear the call to repentance and to the unfathomable mercy of God, even in His wrath, even in His anger, His deepest desire is for us to know, that to the repentant heart, these things were but chastisement as the shepherds crook, routing His lambs back to Him, can you hear the shepherd call? Can you hear the heart of God?
Isaiah 55:1 Ho, every one that thirsts, come you to the waters, and he that has no money; come you, buy, and eat; yes, come, buy wine and milk without money and without price.
Isaiah 55:2 Why do you spend money for that which is not bread? and your labor for that which satisfies not? listen diligently to me, and eat you that which is good, and let your soul delight itself in fatness.
Isaiah 55:3 Incline your ear, and come to me: hear, and your soul shall live; and I will make an everlasting covenant with you, even the sure mercies of David.
Isaiah 55:4 Behold, I have given him for a witness to the people, a leader and commander to the people.
Isaiah 55:5 Behold, you shall call a nation that you know not, and nations that knew not you shall run to you because of the LORD your God, and for the Holy One of Israel; for he has glorified you.
Isaiah 55:6 Seek you the LORD while he may be found, call you on him while he is near:
Isaiah 55:7 Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return to the LORD, and he will have mercy on him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.
Let me bring it a little closer, even as Jesus repeated this very cry, this very yearning, this very call from the heart of God in these familiar words, saying
Matt 11:28 Come to me, all you that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
Matt 11:29 Take my yoke on you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and you shall find rest to your souls.
Matt 11:30 For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.
From this, our vantage point in time, we can see what happened to Judah and Jerusalem. We can see the price of wickedness, we can see the price of turning our back on God. We have this word from the past, written for our benefit, upon whom the end of the age, the end of the world has come. Indeed we have been issued a call; the call of Hezekiah and indeed we will see what Hezekiah saw and indeed we are endued with the grace, with the power by which to perform our call; even as Hezekiah, the called King who was, as his name says, strengthened of Jehovah. The fact that your are hearing these words is evidence of this call, the fact that this call is upon us, is evidence that we too have been strengthened of Jehovah, for God has not called anyone to anything except that He has enabled us to perform it.
