Entry 22
2Chr 30:1 And Hezekiah sent to all Israel and Judah, and wrote letters also to Ephraim and Manasseh, that they should come to the house of the LORD at Jerusalem, to keep the passover to the LORD God of Israel.
Come to the House of the LORD
This account of Hezekiah's call to come to the House of the LORD points and speaks to the last days; it speaks to us now. The Spirit of God in Hezekiah ushers the call to come to the House of the LORD and the Spirit of God in His last days saints ushers the same. We not only call people out of; out of sin, out of the dead church of man, out of Babylon etc but into; into Christ and into His body the Church.
See the spirit of the call to come to the house of the LORD in Isaiah's prophecy.

Come to the House of the LORD
In the next few days we will be looking at the relation between the coming to the House of the LORD/the Temple of God/the Body of Christ/the Church/City of the Lord and keeping the Passover/Fellowship/Communion. It is a vast and deep subject. We will but scratch the surface.
Today we will begin to establish the New Covenant understanding of the House of the Lord. In short, if you are a regenerated saint of God through faith in Jesus Christ, born not of man, nor of the flesh, but of God, then you are the House of the LORD along with your brothers and sisters. Today's devotional reading will be passages showing us this truth.

Here is an example of why the King James bible is so valuable. It says,""YE" are the temple God". "Ye" is plural. Other translation say "you". It is not grammatically clear who the "you" is whether it be plural or singular. When the King James Bible uses the word "ye" you can be absolutely sure that it is plural.

2Cor 6:16 And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in [them]; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.
