There is one nation written about in the bible that is characterized as the nation that rules the earth and a nation that is destroyed in a day while the whole world watches in astonishment. It is mystery Babylon. I have thought for a long time this nation might by the United States. I remember as a young child of perhaps 8 to 10 years of age reading a passage in the bible about men being like women. For some reason that stuck with me. I have now lived to see that. Things like that strengthen my exploration of the bible because I just don’t think these things come to mind after 42 years by accident.
A few months ago the Lord gave me a dream in which I saw various images of destruction in the United States. In the dream, I heard Babylon. I’ve also had 2 dreams in which I saw the president and he said in one, “I am the antichrist,” and in the other I heard antichrist as he took part in a mock communion.
Recently I stumbled onto this scripture. I did so while thinking, “Lord, how can I be in Babylon and the president of Babylon be antichrist? I mean, this is the United States isn’t it?”
Isaiah 10:5 O Assyrian, the rod of mine anger, and the staff in their hand is mine indignation. 6 I will send him against an hypocritical nation, and against the people of my wrath will I give him a charge, to take the spoil, and to take the prey, and to tread them down like the mire of the streets. 7 Howbeit he meaneth not so, neither doth his heart think so; but it is in his heart to destroy and cut off nations not a few.
Now I’m meditating on this. Here are some thoughts. A Assyrian can be used to mean a heavy handed ruler over people. Once in the bible I’ve found the king or pharaoh of Egypt referred to as the Assyrian. I also note that the president has difficulty convincing anyone of his roots. My wife and I have had dreams of terrible things coming to this nation while under his rule. I’m meditating, praying and thinking of how many believe this nation can’t be taken down. That leads me to the next scripture I’ll end with about mystery Babylon.
Revelation 18:7 How much she hath glorified herself, and lived deliciously, so much torment and sorrow give her: for she saith in her heart, I sit a queen, and am no widow, and shall see no sorrow.
